Biography
Johan Scholtens (1967), born and living in Leerdam, started photographing birds, but has since developed into an all-round nature photographer from birds, mammals and insects to landscape and extreme macro photography. You can contact him for all kinds of nature photography. His photographs are characterized by action in which he does everything he can to capture that one unique moment in a fraction of a second. Think of small songbirds in flight to jumping hares and roe deers over ditches in the polder. Furthermore, colors are a large part of his photographs. In addition, he seeks out the fine details in order to capture the beauty of Creation as beautifully as possible.
