Biography
Thijs Glastra (Haren, 1998) is with two biologists as parents from his childhood in contact with nature. Everything that flies or moves is of interest for him, but birds do have his special attention. Since 2011 photography gets his attention and the over the years he only got more ‘addicted’ to this hobby. From rarities till just some great tits, from simple portraits till birds in their landscape and since the last years from small insects till wide landscapes, everything will be photographed by Thijs if he thinks it will be distinctive enough. At this moment Thijs is studying Forest and Nature Conservation at the Wageningen University where he is broaden his knowledge about nature.

Photographer who mostly photograph birds. The last years other branches within the naturephotography slowly come on his path aswell.
