Biography
Hanneke Dallmeijer (Amsterdam, 1948) has a strong interest in nature from early childhood. She was a member of the Dutch Organization for Nature Study (NJN) and visited camps in the Wadden Sea area and in the Biesbosch. As a student she was a warden of the small Bird Island of Griend in the Waddensea. Up till the present she visits the island regularly in the framework of a migratory bird census program. Hanneke is interested in a wide range of photographic subjects; animals, plants and landscapes are all captured in a creative and original way. Although she has a special interest in the Wadden Sea area Hanneke’s photographic activities have brought her to many countries on all continents.
