Biography
Chris Stenger (Leiden, 1950) is a passionate nature photographer since 1970. Nature photography forms the perfect combination between being outside in the great outdoors, traveling to gain new experiences and being creative for him. With his photography Chris aims to capture the beauty of untouched wild nature, which unfortunately is hardly found anymore in the overpopulated Netherlands. Therefore his work is mainly created during long trips to the more barren and desolate regions of our planet. Chris is a contemplative photographer, who likes to work quietly for many hours or even days on a single topic. Curiosity, dedication and technical perfection are crucial for him. Main subjects are landscapes, mammals, birds, abstractions and travel photography. Chris also makes audio-visual presentations that he presents on request throughout the Netherlands.
