Biography
Ton Nagtegaal (Maarssen, 1952) has been a fanatic lover of nature for his whole life. In the early 80’s he devellopes his passion for birds. He regularly crosses the country with his binocular and telescope to find as many different species as possible. Very soon he becomes interested in photografing this beautiful creatures. He buy’s his first Pentax camera with 600mm Sigma mirrorlens. From this moment his enthusiasm is growing by the day. Together with his family he crosses Europe, in search of the best birding areas. After infecting his kids with the same virus, they travel all over the world, making the most beautiful pictures.
