Michel Geven (Zevenaar, 1970) is interested in nature from an early age. This started when Michel became a member of the N.J.N. and resulted also in becomming a birdbander in 1988. Until now Michel bands about 2000 birds every year. In 2006 another dream came true: a digital reflexcamera was bought. The knowledge of birdwatching and banding of all those years could now be used to take photos of birds. Birdphotography is although just a hobby as Michel runs a roadbuiling company and has a lovely family with three young children. This is why many photo's are taken in his own garden or in the neighbourhoud where he is living.
