Biography
Ron Poot (Bodegraven, 1956). As a child Ron was already interested in nature. His study biology was a logical choice. Ron has graduated as biologist at the University of Utrecht (1982). His specialties are: ecology, vegetation science, wild flowers. Ron Poot has been a teacher biology and later an environmental specialist for the government. Now he is a manager at the health service in the beautiful region Twente. In his spare time he is a field biologist in the region Twente. Nature photography is for Ron an important way to express his love for nature. Ron is specialized in macro-photography. Plants, mosses and abstract nature are his favourite subjects.
