Biography
Bennie van den Brink (Oldebroek 6-2-1949)has got a passion and great interest in birds. From 1970 on he started photographing birds and nature. At the same time he became birdringer (birdbander) of the Dutch Ringing Scheme (Vogeltrekstation) and focused on studying the European Barn Swallow Hirundo rustica. Both in The Netherlands and in a number of African countries he initiated research projects on the barn swallow. He combines these research programs with photographing birds, animals and nature in those countries.
Specialism
Bennie prefers to photograph birds. In his pictures he likes to show elements about life and behaviour of the subjects.
