Biography
Jordi Strijdhorst (Ermelo, 1977) has started with photography in 1998. Since that time his preference got from landscapes and people to macrophotos of dragonflies and other insects. During his travels throughout south-east Asia Jordi discovered that he loves to make macrophotos of dragonflies, damselflies and butterflies. Also reptiles, amphibians and other insects he likes to make photos of. He drives throughout the Netherlands for the most fun looking, rare and special species in the most beautiful places. Most of the time even before his working day begins.
Through macro photography Jordi would like to make people see a world they don’t see very often.
Lately he is expanding his world with wildlife photography.
