| Biography |
Bert de Vos (Enschede, 1960).
Bert’s love for photography goes back to his childhood. Armed with an analog SLR camera, first a Yashica and later a Contax, he went out into the nature to make pictures of everything the beautiful wildlife has to offer.
After a period of silence, Bert picked up his hobby again in 2004 and became a fanatical user of a digital SLR camera. Currently he uses a Canon 50D.
His favourite lens is a 10-22 mm wide angle lens, ideal for landscape phothography.
Nature in general has his attention, but he prefers landscape and macro photography.
Many of his photo’s have been taken in and around wildlife areas close to Enschede, the city he lives in.
For Bert, the best appreciation for his work so far, was the publication of two macro pictures in the “Grasduinen natuuragenda 2007”.
