Biography
From an early age, Bob Luijks (Roosendaal, 1980) is interested in nature. The study of landscape architecture has increased his interest in nature and the cultural landscape. Not only the appearance of nature and landscape but also the story behind, are important for him. Bob tries to see through the whole area and wants to express this in his photos. He focuses therefore on landscape photography.
Bob is living in Horn, a small village in the region of Midden-Limburg. It's an area with a large variety of natural landscapes. That’s why Bob has chosen the southern part of the Netherlands as his main working area. During holidays, wild mountain areas are his favourite places to visit. In 2009 Bob started his own company: Natuurportret.
